LiraDocs allows you to create matter-specific tags that help organize and categorize your family law matters efficiently. These tags appear at the top of each Matter window and can be accessed directly on the LiraDocs home screen.

How Family Law Firms Use Matter Tags

Family law firms often use matter tags to further distinguish between various types of cases like Pre Decree, Post Decree, Custody, and Support & Visitation. LiraDocs enables you to set up different sets of tags for each matter type, and you can assign unlimited tags to each matter to improve organization and facilitate custom reports.

Family Law Matter Tag Examples

Here are some sample tags that can be useful for Pre Decree Matters:

• Spousal Support
• Child Support
• Custody
• No Children
• Property/Escrow
• High Demand Client
• Orders of Protection / Restraining (OOP)
• Bankruptcy (BK)
• Contested
• Uncontested
• Annulment

How to Use Matter Tags in LiraDocs

Once you assign a tag to a matter, it will appear at the top of the matter window. You can also organize your matters using the filter option on the home screen for easy navigation.
