Create a Divorce Matter in LiraDocs
Divorce cases are included under the Pre Decree matter type in LiraDocs. This broader category also covers legal separations such as annulments and civil union dissolutions.
Follow these steps to create a Pre Decree matter for your divorce case:
- Select the New Matter button under the LiraDocs tab.
- Click on the arrow next to the Family folder in the pop-up window.
- Select the Pre Decree matter type. To indicate which party you represent, select either the Petitioner or Respondent button.
