Add Real Estate Contacts

In LiraDocs, you can add Real Estate Contacts in a way that makes document creation and automation seamless. Here’s how to manage different types of contacts in Real Estate matters:

How to Add Real Estate Contacts:

  1. Multiple Buyers or Sellers:
    • Same Address: If both buyers or sellers live at the same address and need to be referred to in the same documents (such as letters), you can enter both parties on the same contact card.
      • Tip: Use the Replace References feature if you need to create individual documents for each contact.
    • Separate Addresses: If buyers or sellers live at different addresses and need to be mentioned in separate documents, you can right-click on the contact and select “Add a second buyer/seller” to create separate entries for each.
  2. Adding Attorneys:
    • For attorneys, enter them as a Firm/Organization/Business.
      • Solo Practitioners: Even if the attorney works alone, list them as an organization and name the firm as “Law Office of [Attorney’s Name].”
    • Add each attorney as an individual contact for proper tracking and document generation.
  3. Adding Realtors:
    • Realtors as People: Enter realtors as individuals if they are representing the clients. You can include their title or designation under the “Care of” line to specify any additional details.
    • Title Companies: For title companies, enter them as a Firm/Business/Organization for better organization.
    • Make sure to designate the appropriate location in the contact’s details to ensure the correct correspondence.

These steps will help you ensure that your Real Estate matters are properly organized in LiraDocs, making document generation and automation easier while keeping everything up to date.
