Personal Injury Workflows

This article walks through three sample workflows for Personal Injury matters. Since every law firm is different, we encourage you to tailor these workflows based on your preferences or jurisdictional requirements. Processes can vary from one region to another.

If you are new to LiraDocs and workflows, we recommend reviewing our article on workflows to learn how to create or edit one.

To ensure the workflow is most effective, make sure to complete all information in the matter details, especially the Case Details and Statute of Limitations Date.

Statute of Limitations

For Statute of Limitations reminders, we recommend creating a reminder for the Attorney Responsible and then a copy for the Person Assisting.

It is not best practice to assign the same task to multiple people in this instance. If one task is assigned to multiple people, it will disappear from the task list for all assignees once one marks the task as complete, meaning others may never see the reminder.
