Customizing LiraDocs for Your Firm

As part of our onboarding service, we will help you tailor LiraDocs to your firm’s specific needs during the configuration call. Our team will guide you step-by-step through LiraDocs settings to ensure a smooth setup.

1. Set Up Your Firm & Users

  • Configure your Firm Details
  • Add or edit staff and user accounts
  • Enable two-factor authentication for added security
  • Discuss billing settings, including fixed fees and automated time tracking

2. Set Up Your Matters

  • Customize document subject lines (Re:) for different matter types
  • Create default folders, matter notes, and time & fee tracking for better organization
  • Set up headers and footers for firm-wide document consistency

  • Introduce matter stages to structure case progress
  • Discuss firm workflows and how to apply them to matter types

3. Set Up Billing Preferences

  • Activate and configure LiraDocs Billing
  • Set billing increments (e.g., per-minute tracking)
  • Define hourly rates on a per-matter basis
  • Add and manage activity codes

4. Set Up Document Automation & Templates

  • Subscribe to form suites relevant to your practice areas
  • Navigate the Forms and Templates Library
  • Configure document automation settings

5. Configure Email & Notifications

  • Set up your daily activity digest (emails, events, phone messages, and tasks)
  • View and sync your calendar within LiraDocs
  • Learn how to send bulk email communications

6. Apply Integrations & Connect with Other Tools

  • Set up email marketing campaigns
  • Connect with third-party services for enhanced functionality (e.g., InfoTrack, RingCentral, Zoom)
